On the day …

Copo De Água

It is tradition in Portugal for the Bride and Groom to host a Copo De Água (or cup of water) for their guests before the ceremony. This allows us to spend time with you before the wedding is in full swing. So join us for some food and drink before the ceremony.

Travel

The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto, approximately 20 minutes drive from the reception venue in Póvoa de Varzim.

August is peak travel season so we strongly urge you to book your flights as early as possible to ensure you can attend and avoid paying inflated airline prices.

While Portugal is well connected in the major cities, the most time and cost efficient way to travel remains by car. Therefore we are asking that guests rent cars for their visit to make the day as smooth as possible. Doing this early and in groups is the most cost efficient option.
